Impact/Purpose:

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of environmental conditions and material type found in buildings (aluminum, glass, and wood) on persistence and inactivation of the select agent Brucella suis. The three liquid decontaminants tested were pH-amended (adjusted) bleach, ethanol, and citric acid.
